While our providers recommend wound treatments available through each facility’s formulary, some cases require something beyond the basics. Our providers are trained in these advanced modalities and can help the facility decide if this is needed.
All nurses and facilities are provided with the direct contact information of their providers. They can text, email or call at any time. We welcome communication from facilities, even after hours on nights, weekends, and holidays.
We schedule rounds based on the nursing home preferences and are happy to move the day and time as needed to accommodate them.
We offer audio-visual calls to nursing homes to evaluate patients as needed. The nurse can contact us, perform the virtual visit, and have a plan in place.
Our EMR can generate custom reports with data, graphs, and charts, as dictated by facilities, to demonstrate wound occurrence, types, anatomic distribution, the prevalence of healing vs. worsening vs. stalled wounds, and pressure wounds.
We do not shy away when the state walks in the door. We will gladly support your facility however we can, from providing reports to meeting with the state surveyor.
Every time our provider enters a facility is an opportunity to teach. We provide education on rounds every week regarding current patient and treatment discussions. A formal presentation or in-service training can be provided.
