About Our Approach

Our clinical staff is experienced in treating the full spectrum of wounds, including vascular, surgical, traumatic, venous, diabetic, and pressure; in addition, we provide care for all types of patients, including hospice patients.

We understand and are attentive to the protocols of the nursing home industry and follow the formulary model of the facility.

We are capable of performing debridement and other advanced wound care procedures.

We are prepared to provide rapid response treatment within a 24 to 48 hour period upon request, regardless of the last time a patient was seen, and will provide the same rapid response treatment for new admissions that are deemed by the facility to require emergent care. Our team also attends to incontinence issues.

We are committed to wound care training through everyday assessment and educational training. We are constantly researching and evaluating new and cutting-edge wound care products and methods.

We developed our own proprietary software that allows for more accurate data capture, customizable reporting components for senior nursing staff/administrators/regional managers, and PCC data integration.

We have the capacity to utilize tele-health options in distinct situations or when access to the facility is unavailable.

We work with facilities ahead of survey to ensure competencies in the area of wound care. For us, an improved or deficient free-wound survey is a measurable way to determine our value to the facility.

Integrated Wound Care was founded by Dr. Michael Ginsburg in 2014. Before that time, Dr. Ginsburg was the Medical Review Coordinator for Centers for Wound Healing specializing in wound management and hyperbaric medicine. His responsibility included more than 30 wound care centers.

Our mission is to offer excellence in clinical care and to operate in lockstep with the wants, needs, and requirements of the facilities we service. We provide the most advanced wound-care solutions and therapies available in the marketplace.

Maintaining the Facility Mindset

Our goal is to service your facility in the same manner as we would if we were employed at your facility, and always with your best business interests and quality of care interests in mind.

Our team will:

See and treat all patients regardless of which insurance provider
Provide seamless transition from existing wound care companies and/or wound care nurses
Work with the facility to coordinate best times to perform rounds
Regularly discuss cases with attending physicians and rather prefer it to ensure a more holistic approach to patient wound care
Upon completion of rounds, we routinely review with relevant facility staff to ensure inline document reporting
Provide official daily note sheets which are generally available within 24 hours of attending to a patient, in order that we can customize reports, as per facility needs and requests
Periodically provide other reporting, like outcome reports at intervals determined by the facility
